Halloween 2013!

"Cruella de Vil, Cruella de Vil, if she doesn't scare you, no evil thing will....."
Yep. I was Cruella de Vil for Halloween this year. It was very exciting. I think I might go with the villain theme for the next few years. We shall see.

A huge thank you to Kate for helping with my costume, Sister Sperry for donating the dalmatian stuffed animal, Target for the awesome red lip stick, our neighbor for letting us borrow his spotted dog, and Nate for photographing this classic day.
I couldn't have done it without all of you.

My class had a fantastic day as well. We had fun with our costume parade around the school and our awesome Halloween party! Surprisingly, only about 1/3 of each class even knew who Cruella de Vil was. I guess they are too young to know about 101 Dalmatians. It is an older classic I guess. The staff members went crazy over it though and were coming to take my picture. throughout the day. They even talked about me over the morning announcements! I was the hit of the school. Not many other teachers dressed up so I definitely stood out. :) What cute kindergarteners I have though! They all looked so cute in their costumes. Here are my two classes:

That night I handed out candy to trick or treaters. One of my students came to my house which was so fun! She was so surprised to see me when the door opened. It is fun living so close to the school and being in an area with lots of kids.

Happy Halloween everyone! :)
